The EM module MCAN is the perfect CAN module solution. MCAN enables the control of different devices and sensor units and thus serves for network security. The module is equipped with a USB-to-CAN adapter. Further details: CAN module version 2.0A and 2.0B for serial field bus operations, DSUB-9 connector (male), USB 2.0 / 1.1 capable. The possible bit rate is 20 kBit/s to 1 MBit/s.
The CAN module can also be ordered with galvanic isolation (500V). Select the option with optical coupler - with/without cable.
Like all EM-I/O modules, they fit on the horizontal rail carrier of the products
TB-M and
TB-H and can be fixed on it with a screw. It is compatible with hardware from E.E.P.D. / EMTrust as well as with most x86 and ARM third-party hardware. In addition to mounting in the module rack, it can also be attached to a top hat rail. A special version with an 80cm long USB cable (type A plug) is available for this purpose.
